NOTE: A Contractor Orientation Identification Card does not grant unlimited access on Amtrak property. All Contractors must be accompanied by an Amtrak employee at all times.

The following web-site has been designed for you, your employees, and your sub-contractors to obtain your orientation for Contractor Safety and Security Photo ID Badge while working on AMTRAK properties.

You must be registered and have completed the AMTRAK specific course and exercise prior to working on AMTRAK property. This orientation course is required to be completed annually. The photo ID Badge is attached to this course is valid for 1 year.

At the end of your AMTRAK course you will have a comprehensive test that you must pass so that your course and photo badge will be processed.  This evaluation will be used to track your knowledge of key points. Once you have registered you will select the AMTRAK course and evaluation. You can prepay any amount as a "credit" for your company.

IMPORTANT Upon completion of your registration and the course you will receive a course completion photo ID card verifying your successful completion.
 You will also be listed on the completion data base which is available for to review.

The following web-site has been designed for you, your employees, and your sub-contractors to obtain your contractor photo ID badge and safety orientation while working on AMTRAK properties. This site is designed for you as an individual study course.

You must be registered and have completed the specific courses for any of the specific areas prior to working on AMTRAK property. 

Cost of the contractor safety course/photo ID badge is $18.00 (one-year badge).
